Personality Test Essay According to my personality test, the result that I have obtained is I am a popular sanguine person. Basically a popular sanguine person is a socially active. They enjoy fun, socializing, chatting, telling stories and are fond of promising the world, because thats the friendly thing to do. The sanguine personality type is a very fun-loving individual. These people are very easy to pick out in a crowd. The sanguine always has friends around and is compelled to make them laugh. Sanguines are full of energy. They bounce from one activity to another. Craving attention, the sanguine loves to be the star. In all things, he tries to have fun and complete any task at hand â€Å"the happy way. † There are some weaknesses in the sanguine personality as well. Because he always wants to be the center of attention, this lively person is many times a show off or class clown. He is restless and frequently leaves projects or goals before completing them. The sanguine is often undisciplined, disorganized and forgetful. The sanguine personality is one that characterizes a person who is warm, friendly and very sensitive. An individual with these traits needs attention and approval from those around him. If you meet an exuberant salesman or a stranger that goes out of the way to meet you, a sanguine personality has just arrived. First sign of me to be a popular sanguine person is I am a playful guy. Most of the time wherever I am, I used to be the playful one. I will make serious situation easy for my friends by my jokes. It’s a useful attitude to overcome stress. Next, I am also a sociable guy. This is proven as I am surrounded by many friends. It is also an advantage in my future as I can adapt new culture and make new friends in foreign countries that I might go. Besides, I am a spontaneous person too. I am a person who won’t think too much to make a decision. Therefore, I tend to be a more straight-forward person in live as people can rely on me to make any decision. Other than that, I am an optimistic person as i looks at all things more positive than most. For an example, I look at the positive side of a problem instead of looking at the bad part of it. I am also a cheerful person as I can make a sad person happy. It is because of my humor that I can make a situation better and active. Therefore, its proves that I am a popular sanguine person. Furthermore, I am a popular person. For an example, I was a high officer in my prefect’s board in school. Almost all the students knew me because I was one of the best prefects in school. Next we move into my weakness. I am an unpredictable person. This is because sometimes I will have mood swings and complications in my thoughts. Therefore I can’t really respond correctly to situations. This major weakness that I am trying to avoid. Besides, I can also get angry easily at times. The will be very difficult for the people around me to judge my emotions. Therefore this is also one of the weaknesses that I am trying to avoid. I am also a person who wants credits after I accomplish a certain task. This action actually highlights the ego in me which is bad. I can also be a very talkative person which makes most of the people around me annoyed. This is a weakness because people might tend to avoid us. Other than that, my speech is loud and clear. Even though it is clear the loudness matters most of the time. I don’t really know how to adjust my loudness according to situations. Lastly, I am a changeable person. I might not show that I don’t like a person in front of him/her but I tend to talk to others about them. Well this is what I do the least and not all the time. In conclusion, by totaling the characteristics that I have in me, it is proven that I am a popular sanguine person. I am always trying to improve my weakness to become a better person in life.

Bitterness, Weariness and Impotence in Thomas Hardy's Tess of the d'Ubervilles In his novel Tess of the d'Ubervilles, as well as much of his poetry, Thomas Hardy expresses his dissatisfaction, weariness, and an overwhelming sense of injustice at the cruelty of our universal fate  - disappointment and disillusionment. Hardy argues that the hopes and desires of Men are cruelly thwarted by a potent combination of "all-powerful Nature, fate, unforeseen accidents and disasters, and tragic flaws" (Mickelson 32). Although Tess, the heroine of the novel, is fully realized with physical, emotional, and mental attributes, grasping desperately to be her own master, she is nevertheless overpowered, becoming a victim of circumstance, nature, and social hypocrisy. Likewise, Hardy's dark realities bleed into and saturate his poems. First, Hardy personifies Nature as a main character in the novel. Instead of allowing the influence of Nature to show only in weather and seasonal changes, allowing the reader to sense the plot, Hardy creates a Nature who is not the typical capricious but distant goddess. Instead, she is terrifyingly responsible for influencing and overpowering man. Hardy's Nature is not only essential for the subsistence of the entire farming countryside, but the waxing and waning cycles - in the weather, time of day, and season, - which seem to influence the actions of the characters. Every disastrous occurrence seems preordained by the mood of Nature. Example Essay What do you like to do for fun in your spare time? Well in the next couple paragraphs I will be writing about what I do for fun in my spare time, why, and giving examples. The first thing I will be writing about is what I like to do in my spare time. Well what I like to do for fun in my spare time is going riding. He swims because he enjoys swimming. The second reason I like to ride is because it gives me an adrenaline rush. For example imagine being in a motorcycle race, and your pushing yourself to go faster, and take everything right. Then you get that feeling of adrenaline rush. The third reason why I enjoy riding is because when you go off-roading you get a chance to go off in your own world, and explore. The fourth reason why I like to go riding is because you get to go out and tear up things like the ground for instance.The fifth reason why I like to go riding is because you get to go places you couldn’t imagine just walking to. For example if you are trying to go to a friends, and the fastest way to get there is through the woods, and over a bunch of high hills, and a lot of trails to take. Instead of walking you can ride, get up those hills, not wearing yourself out, and enjoy yourself on the way. The sixth reason why I like riding is because it’s a time you can hang out with your friends in your own world, and challenge yourself, and your friends. Well that’s what I do for fun in my spare time. I hope you enjoy doing what you do for fun as much as I do.

The effects of technology on society will always be a double edged sword. The debate is a never ending one, in which both sides have valid and compelling arguments. The Industrial Revolution reduced manual labor in the long run, but had negative consequences such as child labor and sweatshop conditions. Nuclear Power reduces the cost of producing energy, but raises serious environmental issues like pollution and radiation. In this day in age refusing to assimilate to at least some form of modern living is simply not an option. One invention causing controversy today that has yet to cease being alter, modified, and â€Å"improved† since its debut is the ever present cell phone. The issue of driving while talking on a cell phone has become serious enough that five states have passed laws prohibiting this type of act and making it a primary offense to do so. Not only are drivers ta lking behind the wheel, but many have admitted to engaging in even more potentially dangerous behavior with their phones such as text messaging and surfing the internet. A distracted driver is a dangerous one. If you are focused on a conversation and your eyes are not on the road, drivers cannot be expected to make a quick and safe decision should the need for one arise. The behavior of a driver while using a cell phone has been compared to that of one driving while under the influence. Studies have shown that those who use a cell phone while driving are four times more likely to be involved in a crash than those who don’t. On the flip side, it is very reassuring to know as you are driving down the highway that if you were to get a flat tire or your engine were to overheat you could flip open that gadget in the cup holder next to you and have a plan b on the way.
